What is a Podcast? So maybe you keep hearing this word and you have no idea what's going on, or this is the first you've heard of it. Don't worry, nobody is going to kick your dog or lick your mom, switched:ON can help. A Podcast is basically any audio content that is made available over the internet for a subscription-based delivery. Think of it like 'streaming' audio that you can listen to whenever you want, or even take with you. It doesn't matter when the file was recorded, created, downloaded or looked at last... it's all about you and your schedule, so you can listen when you feel like it, so tell your across the street neighbor to get off your back about it!
What you need to know about our Podcast
The switched:ON Show is not considered work or family safe. It's intended for audiences over 18 years of age, who have a pulse and aren't social drones. We typically record longer shows than the 'average' podcast. Show running times are between 1hr and 3hrs and have even been as long as 20hrs! It makes for a fairly large download (expect over 100MB most shows), but if you give the show a listen it will be worth your time, the minutes of your life will rush by and you'll be begging for more. Don't worry, we're here for you each Monday morning with a new file. |
